The 3-weights have a sweet, smooth, more moderate action, while the larger line weights have a faster, more powerful action for heavy-duty applications. All rods share a light, sensitive feel and an incredibly smooth power curve for faster line speed and easier casting. Blanks are a beautiful Blue. Ebony wood reelseat on the 3 through 6-weight trout rods. Salt-safe hardware with fighting butts on the saltwater 6-wt through 10-weight rods. These are really great casting rods.
