Recently used a Chartreuse Gator-Done on a pike trip and had so many violent strikes that the fly is now trashed, especially on the artificial tail. Pike repeatedly hit this fly with such vigor and the fight was voracious that it stripped the artificial tail down to nothing. I would not hesitate to stock up on these, specifically in the 3/0 size if I was going on a big Northern Pike excursion. Also had some bass swallow this thing whole. Great fly!
