G. LOOMIS ‘ASQUITH’ GLOBAL ALL-WATER FLY ROD SERIES – Asquith is a culmination of global cooperation in design, materials and manufacturing techniques. Built on Shimano’s proprietary Spiral X platform. Blanks are wrapped both directions at 45-degree angles with “infinity tape” and graphite combo creating an X pattern in the finish, and also superb power transfer from tip to hand, quick recovery, increased sensitivity and straight line tracking for brilliant accuracy. Designed by world casting champion Steve Rajeff with fast actions, generous power levels, titanium guides, and exceptionally light swing weight. These rods are about 15% lighter weight than their NRX cousins. 4 thru 6-weight rods feature an uplocking machined reelseat with bamboo wood insert and reverse half wells grip. 7-weights and up feature a machined reelseat with fighting-butt and full-wells grips.
