WILSON'S ROADKILL CRAW The Road Kill Craw is tied so the hook point rides up, but the bulk of the materials is tied on the side and bottom to maximize the gap, which is often ignored on patterns like this. It is tied with Silicone legs and squirrel tail hair for durability against those toothy fish and rocky bottoms that are so hard on flies. The natural colors of hair also add to a more realistic pattern. When the fly is left to rest it sits at a 45 degree angle in a perfect defensive posture when they know that the smallmouth are there. The fly is best fished with a no-slip mono loop to give the fly more movement in the water. The fly can be dead drifted, bounced, or stripped. Great for both Trout and Bass.
