WINSTON AIR FLY ROD SERIES - A new line of super premium, ultra-lightweight, all-around fly rods featuring new materials and a revolutionary new design. The lightest, highest performing fly rods that Winston has ever produced, breaking boundaries in performance at all casting ranges. The combination of Winston's new SuperSilica resin system with high modulus Boron-III means significantly less weight, more liveliness, an even wider casting range, and higher responsiveness for optimum presentation. These rods provide an amazingly smooth transition of power with any length of cast and incredible responsiveness and flex without feeling stiff. These rods offer a new, higher level of energy to the characteristically smooth Winston Progressive Action. The result: A true step forward in premium rods. Smooth fast action that fits in-between their BIIIx and BIII Plus, with tons of feel and a widened "sweet spot". Blanks are appointed with hard chrome snake over-sized "Shooting Guides" with chrome nano-lite stripping guides. Nickel silver reelseat with burled wood insert. Premium dark Winston green graphite rod tube with embroidered with logo rod sock. Unconditional Lifetime Warranty. Made in Montana.

Boron fibers in the butt sections of Winston rods provide extraordinary strength and drive extra energy. This creates a distinctive lively and crisp action. Fly rods made only from graphite fibers (without Boron) do not have this same energy. The Boron III designs incorporate multiple materials and multiple tapers giving you a great fly rod that is accurate at a variety of distances with little effort while still optimizing presentation. All of the premium Winston green fly rods feature their industry-leading Boron III materials and designs.
