LOVE this bag!

5 fishpond FISHPOND Thunderhead Submersible Backpack

Reviewer: from St. Louis, MO

This bag is very thoughtfully designed. As with most Fishpond products, they thought through each and every thing they included, as well as thought through what they left off.

The simplicity of the exterior is the biggest differentiator over other bags, in my opinion. I also appreciate the sticky straps for their ability to hold a rod (or two!) solidly in place at the height I want. Other bags have a water bottle pocket that "doubles" as a part of the rod holder, which drives me nuts. Sometimes I want the bottom of the rods to not be extending two feet or more over my head. This bag and the sticky straps allow me to do that.

The shoulder straps are super comfy and just long enough to not create bulk or get in the way when casting.
